Hi, my name is Bonnie MacKenzie and I am the owner and operator of Cen Cal Solutions. I have been working with computers in varying aspects since late 1984, and have been designing web sites since early 1998. My love for computers has led me to persue a career in web development. Initially I taught myself html and basic web design principles, but my love for the industry has led me to attend Bakersfield College, in which I am now in my final semester. I will be obtaining an A.S. Degree in Web Development, and an A.A. Degree in Communication, come December 2010. I would eventually like to teach at a Junior College level, and will be attending Cal State Bakersfield in order to obtain my B.A. in Communication. I will also be attending The University of Phoenix in order to obtain a B.A. in Web Development.

In addition to taking classes at Bakersfield College in order to earn an A.S. Degree in Web Development and an A.A. Degree in Communication, I have taken additional classes at Santa Barbara City College and I am working towards an A.A. Degree in Computer Information Systems, and I am also taking classes at Fullerton City College in order to reach my educational goals at an acclerated rate.

While it might seem that I am taking a lot of college classes in order to earn various degress, my philosophy is explainable. I believe that to have a successful career in web development, you need to combine Communication, Web Development & Computer Information Systems all into one. In my opinion the three go hand in hand with one another. I also believe that you can never be over educated. The more you learn, the better you will be at what you want to accomplish in life.
