Cen Cal Solutions does not just slap your web site together. While some designers might think that this is how to get the job done, this is not how we think. Designing a good looking and functional web site takes imense thought and preperation.

This process involves several steps, and those steps sometimes involve sub-steps.  Our process is as follows:

1. Consultation - We sit down with you when possible to discuss what you want to achieve with your web site. When it's not possible to sit down with you, then we will spend time talking to you personally on the phone, and continue our cooresponse via email. We then ask you to fill out our planning form. The questions asked on the planning form, make sure that we have in writing a general idea of what your hoping to do with your web site.
2. Static HTML or Database Driven Site - During our initial consultation we will decide with you whether or not you need a static site, or a database driven site. If your site is going to be needing very few updates, then we will probably suggest that you need a static site. if your going to be updating your site on a regular basis, then we will most likely suggest you go with a database driven site. We like to use a content management system (cms) called Joomla for database driven sites. Joomla offers a lot of versatility and can be used to acheive just about anything you might want in a web site.
3. Web Site Navigation - The navigation of your web site is important. If your potential clients/customers can't find what they are looking for they will leave your site and go to another site where they can find what they want.
4. Web Site Usability - We study how your web site is going to function. We need to consider who might be accessing your site, and we need to make sure that it's accessible for everyone, including those who are visually and/or hearing impaired. Will your site be accessed by those using their cell phones to surf the internet, or on old computer systems with obsolete software. These are things to be considered, and we take them seriously.
5. Market Analysis - We are interested in what your potential clients/customers are looking for, and we will research the market to find out. If we know the market for your industry, then we can design a better web site for you.
6. Competative Analysis - Who are your competitors? We want to know so that we can study them, see what works for them, and avoid making mistakes that they may have made.
7. Corporate Identity Analysis - We take a good look at your current company branding. We want to see your company set apart from the rest. Is your brand and/or logo unique for your company? We believe that your company deserves an identity all it's own, not just something that looks like everyone else.
8. Design Phase - It's time to get to work and design a great looking and functional site for you. Using all the information we have gathered concerning you, your business and your potential clients/customers, we break out the tools neccesary and get the job done. We utilize a variety of tools to create your web site. We use the old fashioned way and code somethings ourselves, using different coding languages and a text editor. We also utilize state of the art software to get the job done. Things like Adobe DreamWeaver, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Flash, Adobe Image Ready, Adobe Photoshop, and a host of other available tools.
9. Test & Re-Test - This is a crucial phase of development. We need to test your newly designed site under a host of conditions. We test using various operating systems, common internet browsers such as Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, Maxathon, Flock and a host of others. We test on older computers to ensure that even those who are using computers from the dark ages can view your site. We want to make sure that your site is accessible for every potential client/customer you might have out there.
10. Launch Day - Well, the day is finally here, it's time to launch your web site. We don't stop here however. We want to make sure that the site is going to work for your business. We will show you various ways to promote your web site, and get the visitors you need to further your online presence. We'll show you the basics of updating the site yourself, or we'll give you options of having us update it for you. Whichever works best for you and your business.
